Inflite Engineering Enhances Capabilities with New Hurco DCX32-5Si 5-Axis Machining Centre
Inflite has taken delivery of a brand new Hurco DCX32-5Si 5-axis machining centre. This new machine will be a direct and improved replacement for our 2009 HVM-7000-PC Anayak while was retired as part of our machine shop relocation.


The new investment in plant will add significant value to Inflite Engineering’s already extensive large 5-axis milling capability.
Some of the exciting features of this new Hurco DCX32-5Si machine are the following:
– 18,000rpm HSK63A Spindle.
– 60 station tool changer.
– 3200mm x 2100mm travel.
– 2 filter mist extraction units.
– Tool and Part Probing Software in conjunction with Renishaw Probes.
– Real-time tool simulation. Which is used in conjunction with HyperMill and Verticut software.
Inflite Engineering remains committed to our plans for further investment in our Machining, Sheet Metal and Treatment facilities.
Inflite Engineering Services Consolidates Operations and Invests in New Capabilities
Inflite Engineering Services has completed a major step in its transformation, consolidating its Hangar 6 operations from London Stansted Airport into its Woodside facility at Bishops Stortford. The move brings all manufacturing under one roof, boosting efficiency and collaboration.
The relocation is accompanied by the rollout of a modern ERP system and significant equipment upgrades, including the arrival of new CNC machines and a Hurco CNC scheduled for installation in July.
With a strong order book and growing opportunities in both defence and civil aerospace, Inflite Engineering Services is poised for its next chapter of growth. Our treatments facility, AST in Chelmsford, continues to support this journey, achieving sales targets and leading ERP adoption.

Statement on Data Security Incident
We can confirm that Inflite Engineering Services Limited recently experienced a data security incident involving unauthorised access to corporate data and information. The company has notified all key stakeholders that may have been affected by the incident.
We have reported the incident to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and have been actively working with the relevant UK cyber authorities, including the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), to support our investigation and response.
